As president of CANGRAM International Inc., and her new creation, geddesglobal,  Ms. Geddes has worked with over 100 companies across Canada and several countries around the world.  Much of her work involves education, policy changes, and the creation strategic and operational plans.  Maureen’s passion is creating fun and interactive ways to take personal action, and addressing the systemic changes necessary for genuine respect and inclusion of all.

Her background includes Human Resources Management instructor for the University of Guelph Ridgetown campus, and responsibility for diversity and employment equity at a large Canadian energy company.  Maureen represented Canadian business on an international “Breaking the Glass Ceiling” panel in Tokyo, at the request of the Japanese Ministry of Labour.  She also travelled to India, where she met with leaders of business and government and spoke to various audiences, including the National Institute for Personnel Management, and the International Institute for Human Potential Development.  In 2005 and 2006, Maureen spoke at the International Healthy Cities Conferences in Taiwan, with a focus on bringing synergy to public, private, and NGO efforts.  As CEO of GIFTE Canada (Global Institute for Freedom, Transformation & Enlightenment), she facilitated events on conscious leadership and authentic communication.

Ms. Geddes is a Certified Human Resource Professional (C.H.R.P.), a professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS), an Avatar® Master, and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Windsor.  She served as a member of the Conference Board of Canada’s Policy Roundtable on Immigration, founder and past president of the Cultural Coalition of Chatham-Kent, co-author of “Expert Women Who Speak, Speak Out” (Volumes I and V) and publisher of “IMAGINE Chatham-Kent 2023!”.  Maureen is the recipient of a Government of Ontario 2008 Newcomer Champion Award and the 2009 President’s Award of Excellence from the Cultural Coalition of Chatham-Kent.
