Dr. Fast is the founder of The Centre For Family Business affiliated with the University of Waterloo and serving south-western Ontario. It was one of the first such centres in Canada and is now considered one of the largest in North America. He has co-authored numerous books and curriculum used by professionals and family firms including the Agri-Succession Case Study Commentary published by the Canadian Farm Business Management Council.
