Janelle Whitley joined CCGA’s policy department in June 2013. Her focus areas include marketing, trade and biotechnology. Prior to joining CCGA, she was employed in various capacities within the agriculture industry in Canada and overseas. She worked for the Canadian Wheat Board, the Canadian Federation of Agriculture and the Canadian Consulate in Shanghai. Her experience includes setting policies, strategic planning, managing special projects and teams, and advocating on a variety of political, social and regulatory issues. She holds a B.A. (advanced) in Political Science and Economics and a post graduate diploma in international business. She is currently pursuing an MBA from Royal Roads University in Victoria.
